KCA Reliability Trial 2024

At the start

The KCA Reliability Trial, a classic event among local cycling clubs, brought together 18 enthusiastic riders for a memorable 31-mile journey beginning and ending in Yalding. This ride is part of a long-standing tradition where cyclists test their endurance, teamwork, and timing by meeting specific route and time challenges, often under variable weather conditions. Each participant successfully completed the route within the allotted 3 hours, a testament to their skill and determination.

Ready to go

Reliability trials, like this one organized by the Kent Cycling Association (KCA), are designed to cultivate a sense of camaraderie and resilience within the cycling community. Events start and end at the same point, maintaining a consistent format that allows riders of all abilities to strive for the goal together. By the end, all riders had shared the satisfaction of meeting the challenge as a unified team, embodying the true spirit of these rides.
