What to do with a wood?

Did you know that the SFA cycling club owned a bit of wood? Well, nor did I until I became Chair two years ago. However, before you get too enthusiastic, there is no direct access from the road, it’s rather overgrown, it’s small and there is extensive fly tipping in and around our bit of the wood.

The Board have been discussing what to do with our bit of wood. We can see merits in both selling it (and using the funds to help members) or keeping it (particularly if there are members willing to look after it). So we will put it to the vote in September, along with our Director elections. You decide. And if we decide to sell it, it will be members who vote on what to do with the money (we think it’s worth about £4k - £5k).
