Our Club Promoted Events

Most of our events take place between March and October. Club runs continue throughout the year (see the club runs calendars). In the winter months, we have training sessions focussing on fitness and skills. We also run educational events, including first aid, road safety training, bike maintenance for members, and social events.

The first Club-organised events are usually Early Spring Time Trials, Spring Crits in the Park (CycloPark, Gravesend) and the first Club Audax of the year, The Man of Kent (from The Mission Hall, Golden Green) at the end of March (or early April). The first free Try-Out ride is planned for the last Sunday of March (from Marden Library Car Park). We are looking forward to the Club Lake Annecy trip in June, with planning already underway for the 2025 trip.

As soon as we have the dates for these events, we will list them on this page.

Fairies autumn audax rides

Fairies Autumn Audax Rides 100, 150 & 200 km

Back again for an autumn ride while there is still lovely summer weather, but this year from the pleasant village hall in Chart Sutton. No need to worry about wet leaves on the road or storm Adrian whistling through, hopefully.

Instead, choose between 100, 150 or 200km routes taking you to pretty villages and through areas of outstanding natural beauty, mostly keeping to less busy roads. We want to take you interesting places too. What’s not to love?

The start and finish is at Chart Sutton village hall, SE of Maidstone on Sunday 7th September 2024 at 8:00 for the 200km, 8:30 for the 150km and 9:00 for the 100km.  Entries are now open on the Audax UK website until Saturday 30th August There are no entries in the week leading up to the event nor on the day.

As always, there will be a warm welcome and a decent spread of food both before and after the event.  We hope to see lots of club members, and maybe introduce some audax novices to the delights of these events.

Below are the details for 2024 and maps for 2025 which will give you an idea of what to expect. Check back later for finalised info.

Download a gps route in your chosen format by clicking on your chosen distance under the map below. Then click ‘Download’ or (probably better) ‘Show All’.
