To be awarded annually to the Clubwoman of the year. The recipient shall have been prominent throughout the year in working for the general well-being of the club and its members and shall be decided by a ballot of members attending the Annual General Meeting.

The Les Fisher Memorial Trophies

In 1986, after the untimely death of Les Fisher in a road accident in Nettlestead, his relatives donated two trophies and thought a non-racing honour might be appropriate. Maybe to recognise someone who contributed to the success and well-being of the club.

Having decided that two new trophies would be awarded to two people whose work on behalf of the club throughout the year, in fields other than racing and had been outstanding, ideas were forthcoming as to suitbale titles and how it could be decided who the recipients would be. The trophies would be called Clubwoman of the Year and Clubman of the Year.
