STOP PRESS: there are no road closures affecting the 100km route
For many years the Club has been organising its own summer series of Audax rides from Bethersden offering five distances from 50 to 300 kilometres to suit a wide range of riders. Apart from the pleasant Kent countryside, the flatish routes and the quality of food provided, participants often welcome manned controls.
Back after the enforced cancellation in 2020, the rides take place a bit later this year, on Sunday 11 July, when we hoped to be back in Step 4. Although we will not be, the show goes on with some Covid measures in place, most visibly catering outdoors at Bethersden and Golden Green. You will also need to play your part with the oh too-familiar hands, face, space which are detailed in the rider briefing. We still expect to provide you with the traditional Fairies welcome, TLC and legendary soup.
Entries are now closed. There are no entries on the day except for the 50km event.
The route sheets, gpx files and rider briefing below are now final following completion of the routecheck on 4 July.
