This is the traditional end to the competitive side of the Kent Cycling Association’s year and an event which San Fairy Ann has won on numerous occasions. Please support the club by taking part and let's try and take the trophy once again in 2016!
Reliability Trials are very similar to Audax rides in that riders cover a set route within a selected time, being checked at the furthest points to remove any temptation to cut a corner.
Riders select a time for their chosen distance and earn points for their club if they finish within that time, 1 point for 50 kms, 2 for 100 kms and 4 for 100 miles.
The Trophy is presented to the club with the highest total so please do not be too optimistic with your choice of distance and also allow time for refreshments at Pat’s place at Lashenden and possible mechanical problems.
There are 3 distances to chose from:
-
50 KMS
Times for this distance are 2, 2.5 or 3 hours.
START LOCATION CHOICE: The White Hart, Claygate or Potters Corner, Ashford
-
100 KMS
Times for this distance are 4, 4.5 or 5 hours.
START LOCATION CHOICE: The White Hart, Claygate or Potters Corner, Ashford
-
100 MILES
