A very warm morning and Linton led a group of 17 from Aylesford. He took them out to Eccles then over Peters Bridge and Upper Halling to Cuxton. From there it was the first of several lumps up Cobhambury Hill to Cobham. The only puncture of the day befell Neal at Nurstead, and with a few helpers at the entrance to a rural house, they were told by the female owner to get back to the road and off her private property, which they did without response. After a considerable wait,it was then up and down many country lanes to Longfield and Hartley Bottom Road eventually to the break at Flicks garden centre cafe.Fairseat .With limited service, the delay in getting out again was fairly lengthy and sitting out in their courtyard very warm. With time pressing on,Linton decided to take a very direct route back,by going down Vigo Hill and through Trottiscliffe, Ryarsh and Birling.By the time the group reached West  Malling,a good few had dropped off leaving the remainders to return to Aylesford via Station Road. A distance of 31 miles at about 12 mph and ascents of over 2000 ft.   Thankyou Linton for a great ride.
