Barming to Trossley Park Ride Saturday 30th June

Four of us set off from Barming on another very hot day towards East Malling. We continued through West Malling and Offham, along Teston Road then across the A20 to join Ford Lane. We joined the Pilgrims Way then cycled through Wrotham and continued to join Kemsing Road. We climbed our first hill, Old Terry Lodge then shortly after cycled up Stansted Hill,  both of which had some great views from the top then finally stopped at Trossley Park for lunch, which was surprisingly quiet for a sunny day. After a fairly quick stop we started our shorter route back descending Vigo Hill and then the prettier route through Tottiscliffe and on to Ryarsh then Birling. After passing back through West Malling we took the alternative route back via Lavenders Way where we bumped in to the D group and joined them for the final couple of miles home. We 'd cycled 34 miles in total with an average speed of 12.2.
