Having had a couple of fairly demanding rides over the last couple of weeks, I chose a pretty flat route out to Sevenoaks. Only three of us, Paul B, Paul G and Del, out this week as other regular riders unable to be there due to medical conditions, broken bike or away on holiday enjoying themselves.
Uneventful ride other than being stopped en route by an irate van driver who was scouring the roads looking for another cyclist who had thumped his van - in what I presume was road rage incident ♂️
Stopped at Teal Cafe - as always good food and fast and cheerful service. One of the better places to stop I think.
A dry fine day and a flat route enabled us to maintain a good speed with an average of 17.6 mph for the ride over 51 miles. 3 riders. 1755ft.
